isn't it weird?
i just can't shake off this mixture of bemusement and exasperation. recently a friend blogged about me, but in such an insidious way that though the entry was obviously targeted at me, it made no direct reference, and awkwardly enough the whole point of the entry was to tell me (and specifically me) something.
i think the blog is the evolved form of a messenger. previously, messengers ran for days just to relay a message, now with a blog, if you know that the intended audience will read your blog at some point in time, you can simply write something about/for them on your blog and viola!
i am exasperated because that friend could have simply told me outright, instead of going the roundabout route. i am bemused because it reflects well upon my friend's uh...long memory, should i say. no matter, i suppose.
(except that, ironically, i'm doing the same).
