PDA and gyms and such

ok don't say i'm a gym freak, but i pysched my dad into booking this hotel in thailand cuz it had a "fully equipped gym and daily aerobics classes", complete with a nice pool and jacuzzi. and i did use it. the aerobics class was so fun! i mean, the basic steps are there, and the rest of the time i kinda collided with the rest of the class (much to the amusement of the thai instructer who seemed to want to follow what i was doing, much to my embarrassment). they repeat the same music (thai pop?) but otherwise it was really quite enjoyable. the gym is decent, many cardio machines, and the instructers are so friendly! happy. haha. oh one thing though. the machines are calibrated in the american system of measurement (ie miles), so i was rather worried when i started sprinting at mysterious number 7 (panting, too), until i realised it was in miles per hour. silly me right. must have left my brain in singapore.

you know the reputation bangkok has about having a thriving sex industry? yes it's there. not in your face, but when you see caucasian men holding the hands of nubile young thais (one on each side) and sending them out of the posh hotel lobby, it's a stark reminder that some men (and women) are there for other reasons. not like we fare much better. oh the mrt ride home, a "very tired" girl was half straddling her boyfriend, who was sitting on the floor and taking up quite a lot of space. another dressed in a black lingerie slip was snuggling up to her boyfriend who obviously appreciated the attention. believe me, it was a long ride home.

i'm looking for sports khakis, in particular squash and swimming. anyone game? (pun unintended.) haha. sorry i'm tired...good night everybody!
